The ground rules, in plain English

Terms of Use

Effective date: July 14, 2026 · Applies to canirefitx.com

The short version: this website gives you honest information and a free mortgage review — it is not a loan offer, and using it doesn’t commit you to anything. Be truthful in what you submit, use the site lawfully, and understand that calculator results are estimates, not quotes.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Mortgage Matters Corporation (“Mortgage Matters,” “we,” “us”), NMLS #1856457, 2301 E. Lamar Blvd. Ste. 150, Arlington, TX 76006. By using canirefitx.com (the “Site”), you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. Who we are and where we operate

Mortgage Matters is an independent mortgage brokerage licensed in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. Our services are available only to residents of states where we are licensed, and nothing on this Site is directed to residents of other states. You can verify our licensing at NMLS Consumer Access.

3. Not an offer to lend

The Site, the free mortgage review, and any figures we show are informational only. Nothing on the Site is an offer to lend, a commitment to make a loan, a rate quote, a pre-approval, or a guarantee of any loan terms. All loans are subject to credit approval, underwriting, and property appraisal. Any rates or savings shown are illustrations; your actual terms depend on your credit profile, equity, and market conditions at the time of application.

4. Calculator and estimates

The savings calculator is a self-service educational tool. Its results are estimates based only on the numbers you enter — they exclude taxes, insurance, closing costs, and other factors, and they are not financial advice or a quote. Confirm real figures with a licensed advisor before making decisions.

5. Not legal, tax, or financial advice

Content on the Site is general information about mortgages and refinancing. It isn’t legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult the appropriate licensed professional.

6. What you submit to us

  • You confirm that the information and documents you submit are accurate, complete, and yours to share.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to submit a review request.
  • By submitting the review form and checking the consent box, you agree that we may contact you about your mortgage review by phone, text, or email. Message and data rates may apply; you can opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts). Consent is not a condition of receiving any loan.
  • Don’t upload files you don’t have the right to share, or anything malicious. How we protect and retain your documents is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to breach its security, scraping or harvesting data, submitting false information or someone else’s information without authority, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access to protect the Site or other users.

8. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, logos, and the Mortgage Matters name and mark — belong to Mortgage Matters Corporation or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires our written permission.

9. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites (for example, Google reviews and NMLS Consumer Access). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep the Site accurate and available but don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mortgage Matters will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This section doesn’t limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it doesn’t apply to any loan agreement you may later enter into, which is governed by its own documents.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Mortgage Matters against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

If we update these Terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
